Nowadays, container shipping has finish its recession. The sector is expected to begin a low recovery for next year. That recession takes some years and lots of shipping companies have been affected. Some of them have already been on bankrupt while others just disappear.

Moreover, the companies had to make some adjustments in order to satisfy the decreasing demand. In fact, the level of ship dismantling it’s increasing and most companies are opting to cancel some orders of new vessels.

The Hanjin bankrupt is seen as the point where the situation can’t get worst. So, it is the point marking the end of the recession. The experts expect that the shipping sector starts a low recover next year, increasing the rentability of the sector. However, it would be pretty slow movement and can’t achieve the levels before that period.
